Lindsay and Jordan

This wedding was INCREDIBLY beautiful. We first met Lindsay and Jordan through their wedding coordinator Amy Mancuso (Amy Mancuso Events at www.amymancuso.com) about 6 months before their wedding and started fine tuning their vision for a gorgeous cream and white wedding and reception at the Westin Kierland Resort. They were the nicest family to work with, and I say family because I spent a lot of time speaking with both mothers, the bride and the groom in order to get things just right.

I will say that one of my favorite aspects of working with a wedding coordinator or event planner is that there is attention to the smallest details as you can see in the pictures below. And a special thank you to Jennifer at O'Grace photography (www.ogracephotograhy.com)  for some of the most beautiful pictures I have seen in a long time!

Waiting in anticipation to head down the aisle.

Waiting with the bridesmaids for support before it's time to head down the aisle.

Even the mothers cant contain their excitement for the festivities to start!

Gorgeous bouquets of white hydrangeas, cream and Sahara roses, orchids, etc. sit atop wrought iron stands encased in curly willow. Smaller stands topped with pillar candles surrounded by matching flowers line either side of the aisle for the groom to make his entrance.

And now, it's time for the bride carrying a European hand held bouquet.

The view before any guests arrived.

Cream and white rose petals cover the ground leading up to the chuppa where they will get married. Covered in 6-10' tall curly willow branches, hydrangeas, stock, orchids, roses and foxtail fern, the chuppa creates an incredible frame to capture their "I do's".

A close up of the aisle pieces that welcomed the guests to the wedding site.

YAY!

You may now kiss the bride!

Lindsay's bouquet of white peonies, cream roses, white mini calla lilies, white ranunuculs and silver grey Dusty Miller around the edge. Wrapped in ivory satin ribbon wrap.

Jordan's boutonniere. A white mini calla lily accented with cream coffee berries and a sprig of Dusty Miller.

The mix of both creams and white picks up the lace and under layer of her bridal gown beautifully!

As guests enter the cocktail hour and reception, an elegant silver champagne bucket with floral accent serves as a collection point for gift cards.

A bed of fresh, locally grown wheat grass holds the cards for guests. A lovely centerpiece on a crystal cylinder gives guests a taste of what's in store inside....

Small florals top cocktail tables, surrounded by more candlelight. This deck upstairs at the Westin, overlooking the lake and golf course, becomes a gorgeous resting spot throughout the evening, for those guests looking for a little respite from the dancing.

A tall floral set atop a crystal tower is accented by votive and floating candles at the base, as well as crystal votives hanging from the arrangement.

A mix of three different styles of centerpieces was featured at the reception. Besides the tall vases, this 6x6" crystal square overflowed with a blend of wedding flowers.

Centerpiece #3 featured a set of three of three different sized vases, each featuring one type of flower from the wedding. Stemmed crystal pieces with floating candles accent the tables with more votives below.

A look through the room.

Hanging orchids accent the chairs for the bride and groom.

While guests mingle at the cocktail hour, florals from the ceremony are moved inside and flank either side of the cake table.

Going through all of the pictures from this wedding was so much fun! You could tell it was definitely a night to remember and everyone enjoyed themselves. We all send our continued best wishes for a lifetime of happiness to Lindsay and Jordan!!!

Keeping cool at Bridal-U Event

Excessive heat warnings be darned, on June 30, we were keeping cool.... We were invited to take part in a different type of bridal show hosted by Bridal - U, designed to help inform a bride of all of the 'stuff' that she needs to know PRIOR to getting married. It was a really fun event, and we met sooo many new people!
Here is just a taste of what we created for people to see....
This gorgeous chandelier vase is topped with cream hydrangeas, orchids and calla lilies. LOVE it and let me tell you - it made a statement for sure!

We have a few of these hand painted McKenzie-Childs inspired vases and I love the contrast between the black and white and the hot pink. Of course this 3D rose ruffle overlay from Special Events Table Linens didn't hurt either.

One of my favorite! Mostly because of the fresh lavender and you could smell it just walking by. Love the different levels of candles, votives, etc. on the table. Beautiful for spring.

It was definitely a learning experience for everyone there. Look for us at more bridal shows in the future.

Biltmore Bliss

Johnny always used to call and order special bouquets for Mia - so we were beyond happy for them when we got word that the next bouquet we would make for her was of the bridal variety! Mia was very easy to work with - she knew exactly what she wanted to create an intimate wedding venue at Frank &Albert's restaurant at the Arizona Biltmore. A HUGE thank you to Drew Brashler at Brashlerphoto.com for providing the photos! (Side note: Drew has also taken some family portraits of friends of mine, and wedding or family - they are ALWAYS gorgeous!)

Gorgeous bridal bouquet of Black Magic, Freedom roses and red spray roses.

Belated congratulations to Mia and Johnny and wishing them years and years of continued happiness!

GORGEOUS SPRING WEDDINGS

We have had a GREAT spring wedding season and we were all thrilled to be able to make some gorgeous bouquets! I just wanted to post some new pictures of a few bridal bouquets until I get a chance to write a REAL post...

This was the most gorgeous bridal bouquet made of white peonies accented with black ostrich feathers and black and white ribbon accents. So much fun!

This was another GORGEOUS bridal bouquet that included all of my favorite spring flowers including white mini calla lilies, freesia, roses, ranuculas, feather tulips and accented with green hypericum berries. Love this traditional look...

This last one was for a beautiful bride and oozed elegance! It featured white phaleonopsis orchids set atop a bed of garden roses and hydrangeas. Loved!

I promise I will post more soon! We have had been busy with parties, home remodels, weddings, celebrations and daily deliveries as well as many consultations with new fall and winter brides for later this year. Check back soon!

A beautiful fall wedding....

Planning a wedding is difficult enough, let alone trying to plan a wedding from out of state! But that is just what Whitney and her mom Marianne did! We first met Marianne who had dutifully gathered all of Whitney's ideas and brought them in. After a wonderful brainstorming session with Jeremiah, the wheels were set in motion and a gorgeous fall wedding was planned via phone calls, emails and meetings!
Marianne was simply one of the nicest people that we have met here! She was lovely to work with and months later, when we finally met Whitney, we could tell that the apple does not fall far from the tree....
We were so excited to finally create all of the lovely arrangements for Whitney and her groom Matthew for their November 5 wedding at the Royal Palms resort in Phoenix, Arizona. It was.... simply SPECTACULAR!!!
The ceremony was held in the Alegria garden

Whitney carried white mini calla lillies, cream garden roses, white ranunculus, mini green cymbidium orchids, green hypericum berries and hydrangeas. Her bridesmaids carried purple mini calla lillies, crimson red roses, Sahara cream roses, hydrangeas and green cymbidium orchids. What a gorgeous combination against their black dresses.

The reception was held in the Palmera ballroom. Gorgeous colors at the Royal Palms enhance the ambience!
The couple sat at a beautifuuly set sweetheart table for two...

And finally, sometimes all a gorgeous cake needs is some simple floral accents...

Our very best wishes to the happy couple, Whitney and Matthew!

(P.S. - Thank you, thank you, thank you to Kim at Kimberly Jarman photography, http://www.kimberlyjarman.com,/ for the beautiful pictures! And thank yous to Jennifer at http://www.imonievents.com/ for all of her help as well! Thank you ladies for all you do!
